At Dakar Rally 2022 Saudi Arabia, contested from January 2 to 14, 2022 across 8,300km of difficult Saudi terrain, the rally team of Toyota Auto Body Co., Ltd., Team Land Cruiser Toyota Auto Body (“TLC”), won its ninth consecutive victory in the Production Car category. The Furukawa Electric Group proudly supports TLC as a corporate partner, and the vehicles TLC used in the Rally incorporate parts from Furukawa Automotive Systems, Inc. (FAS).
